The points can be redeemed for cash or prizes, the choice is yours. The exchange rate is currently 1000 points for $10. 1000 points seems like a lot but it really isn't because the points will add up surprisingly fast. They even have product trials where if you agree they let you test out a product.
Once you have accumulated enough points you can cash out your points. The minimum cash out level is 1000 points. You will receive a check in 4 - 6 weeks.
